Our client City of Houston is in need of a Senior Public Health Educator. This is a Temporary position.

Pay Rate: $25.00

Location: Houston TX 77054 (near NRG Stadium)

Schedule: Monday Friday 8am to 5pm

Job Duties:

Conducts train-the-trainer workshops that coordinate TB Control Staff participation at community events serves as the TB Education focus point for new employee orientation.
Conduct targeted testing outreach and supports the delivery of DOT and VDOT service to TB patients.

Requirements:

Must have a valid Texas Drivers License and comply with AP 2-2 policy.
Requires a Bachelors degree in Education Behavioral Science or a closely related field such as Public Health.
Two years of experience in Public Health Education or a closely related field are required.
A Masters degree in Education Behavioral Science or closely related field such as Public Health may be substituted for the above requirements.
Directly related professional experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
