Aecon Utilities is ready to become Canadas #1 utility construction provider and were looking for a Business Analyst Equipment to help us get there!

Reporting to the Sr. Business Analyst the Business Analyst on our Fleet team will play a key role in optimizing one of the largest equipment and vehicle operations in the industry. Youll partner closely with Operations leaders dive into realtime telematics and build dashboards that directly influence how we deploy maintain and maximize our fleet.

What Youll Do Here;
  • Analyze equipment and vehicle utilization to improve performance and reduce downtime
  • Partner with Operations to deliver clear actionable reporting across the organization
  • Visualize telematics data to support preventative maintenance and optimize heavy equipment usage
  • Create ad hoc analytics that influence strategic fleet decisions at the leadership level
  • Develop new Power BI dashboards and tools that highlight KPIs and unlock insights
  • Collaborate with coordination teams on new fleet initiatives and measure their impact
  • Become the goto subject matter expert on fleet reporting data structure and analytics logic

What You Bring to the Team:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Mathematics Statistics Engineering or a related field
  • 13 years of experience in a data business analysis or operations analytics role
  • Strong ability to turn raw data into clear actionable dashboards
  • Proficiency withMicrosoft Excel PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent communication skills - youre confident presenting to all levels of the business
  • Strong time management and an ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Experience withSAP or Business Objects is an asset
  • Power BI experience is a major plus (or eagerness to learn!)

Salary range: The expected salary for this position is $60000 - $70000. Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location education experience and unique skills.
