The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) trains doctors who put patients at the centre of their exemplary care. The School which offers both undergraduate and graduate programmes is named after local philanthropist Tan Sri Dato Lee Kong Chian. Established in 2010 by Nanyang Technological University Singapore in partnership with Imperial College London LKCMedicine aims to be a model for innovative medical education and a centre for transformative research. The Schools primary clinical partner is the National Healthcare Group a leader in public healthcare recognised for the quality of its medical expertise facilities and teaching. The School is transitioning to an NTU medical school ahead of the 2028 successful conclusion of the NTU-Imperial partnership to set up a Joint Medical August 2024 we welcomed our first intake of the NTU MBBS programme that has been recently enhanced to include themes like precision medicine and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare with an expanded scope in the medical humanities. Graduates from the five-year undergraduate medical degree programme will have a strong understanding of the scientific basis of medicine with an emphasis on technology data science and the humanities.
The Senior Executive Clinical Practice and Patient Safety role is to provide administrative and logistical support in the planning and running of the Clinical Practice and Patient Safety course at LKCMedicine. The Senior Executive will assist in the planning and day to day management of educational and departmental activities providing administrative support to the Leads and ensuring a good learning experience for the students. The Senior Executive is also required to work closely with the other departments to support major School events and activities.
Responsibilities:
Plan and organise of CP teaching sessions including booking of learning spaces booking of clinical educators.
Manage the distribution of teaching materials and schedules ensuring timely delivery.
Coordinate teaching sessions and manage labs effectively related to CP.
Work closely with CP Lead to understand the requirements for each CP session.
Build and maintain a positive rapport with clinical educators ensuring continued engagement and preference for working with the School.
Ensure all equipment in the Clinical Labs are fully operational and functional before each session starts
Raise PR for consumables/equipment required for CP teaching sessions.
Prepare clinical educators timesheets ensuring payments are processed promptly.
Manage and update relevant CP expenses promptly.
Requirements:
A diploma or a degree holder.
Working experience in a similar setting (school/college/university/hospital)
Computer literacy able to operate/ use Microsoft applications (Word Excel PowerPoint) skills and Google apps.
Responsible; able to work independently with minimum supervision.
A good team player
Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills
Meticulousness with good planning and organizing abilities with a high level of initiative.
Positive self-motivated and willing to learn.
