EY - GDS Consulting - AI And DATA Data Strategy and Enablement Senior
As a Senior Consultant in Life Sciences Commercial Analytics you will play a key role in supporting the development of data driven insights that enable better decision making across commercial marketing and customer engagement teams. You will work closely with cross functional partners to analyze datasets build reporting solutions and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance commercial performance. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills a collaborative mindset and a desire to grow within the Life Sciences analytics domain.
Roles and Responsibilities
Data Strategy & Enablement
- Support the execution of data initiatives including data sourcing quality checks and harmonization of commercial datasets.
- Assist in defining and applying standardized KPIs reporting approaches and measurement frameworks across brands markets and channels.
- Work with senior team members to translate business questions into analytical requirements and structured problem statements.
- Collaborate with data engineering IT and analytics teams to ensure data assets are accessible reliable and ready for analysis.
- Contribute to governance processes ensuring consistent use of data adherence to reporting standards and compliance with relevant regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Delivery
- Partner with cross functional teams (Marketing Sales Analytics IT Data Engineering) to support the delivery of commercial analytics initiatives.
- Participate in discussions with business stakeholders to gather requirements understand pain points and refine analytical outputs.
- Prepare clear well structured presentations dashboards and reports that communicate insights in a concise and meaningful way.
- Support development of training materials and documentation that enable adoption of analytics tools reports and omnichannel measurement standards.
- Manage assigned workstreams independently while contributing to broader project deliverables.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Good understanding of the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry and awareness of regulatory considerations relevant to commercial data and analytics.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to draw insights from complex datasets.
- Exposure to omnichannel marketing concepts customer engagement models and commercial performance measurement.
- Familiarity with data management conceptsdata quality KPI standardization metadata and reporting frameworks.
- Proficiency working with analytics tools dashboards and modern data platforms (e.g. Tableau Power BI Qlik CRM/MA tools or SQL).
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to analysis and reporting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain analytical findings clearly.
- Ability to manage individual tasks with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within cross functional teams.
- Curiosity problem solving mindset and a willingness to explore new analytical methods and technologies.
- Required relevant experience of 3-5 years.
