Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week assignment at a high-acuity hospital in Brooklyn NY. This opportunity is ideal for critical care nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and are skilled in managing complex critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in a Med/Surg ICU setting
Manage ventilated patients including ventilator monitoring and support
Administer conscious sedation and IV medications safely and accurately
Perform IV insertions and complex phlebotomy procedures
Monitor hemodynamic status and titrate vasoactive drips as needed
Rapidly assess and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams on ventilator weaning and sedation protocols
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital policies and critical care standards

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Critical Care (ICU) experience
Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience
Minimum 2 years of IV Insertion and Phlebotomy experience
Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Active New York RN License (Primary Source Verification required)
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
