Job Summary

The Network Administrator is responsible for the technical and operational support of the firms networks and server infrastructure. This individual works in conjunction with third-party vendors to review update and troubleshoot switches firewalls virtualization platforms and network connectivity. This position provides timely responses to escalated customer support requests involving end-user and networking issues.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs technical and operational support for the firms networks and server infrastructure.
- Implements security operational patches and firmware updates to the firms firewalls infrastructure and other network equipment.
- Collaborates with other staff professionals on day-to-day tasks and special projects.
- Works with other technology groups internally and externally to resolve network issues recommend networking configurations and supports the connectivity for all the firms offices applications and equipment.
- Responds to alerts from monitoring tools to ensure the overall health of the network.
- Flexibility to assist with network issues after hours and on weekends on a as needed basis.

Requirements:
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networks and related technologies such as VLANs wireless access points network cabling IP addressing and subnetting.
- Ability to communicate with internet service providers and other vendors to troubleshoot and escalate connectivity and outate situations.
- Design and maintain network diagrams using Microsoft Visio or other mapping tools.
- Packet capture technologies such as Wireshark or Zeek.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing with our end-users vendors and the public.
- Ability to apply technical knowledge or guidance analyze and interpret data from several sources solve problems by applying precedent or extrapolating from previous experience.
- Ability to document Procedures and Instructions in a technical format.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently as an individual and with others in a cooperative enthusiastic and friendly manner to accomplish position functions and participate in team efforts.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a productive and committed work effort meeting deadlines and managing workload.
- Ability to safely lift move and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Education
The position requires a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Networking or directly related field. Equivalent training and experience may substitute for education. Must hold a certification in networking technologies such as CCNA or Network or obtain one within 90 days of hire.
Experience
The position requires a minimum of three (3) years of direct experience in end-user support wireless and wired networking Windows workstation and server administration or related technologies.

Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance with applicable laws. The salary range for this position is $91000 $119000. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. The salary for this position may vary based on location market data an applicants skills and prior experience certain degrees and certifications and other factors.
