Job Summary

  • The jobholder will manage a team of 4-5 working to achieve the joint responsibilities of the External Reporting team.
  • The jobholder is responsible to ensure all tasks are covered and to plan the workload allocation based on expertise and availability. Where possible the activities must be standardised between entities allowing for back up of each team member and rotation of entities as well as constantly developing team members.
  • The External Reporting Manager must constantly seek opportunities for improved levels of simplification and standardisation throughout the region to the extent that this is possible whilst complying with local Tax Legal and Statutory requirements.
  • The jobholder will be actively leading projects and meetings to drive efficiency and standardisation.
  • Managing preparation and completion of all external reporting requirements for designated entities . This includes taking individual responsibility for timely and accurate preparation of multiple local country financial statements and tax returns working together with the Group Reporting team Global Tax Office local business representatives and various Business Process Outsource
  • The user should have the experience of 7-10 Years of Managing the team and Statutory reporting experience.
  • Managing the work development and performance of the External Reporting Team.
  • Responsible setting KPI and objectives for the External Reporting Team.
  • Managing completion of all tax or statutory audit work required for the designated client entities of the team.
  • Responsible for accurate complete and timely statutory and tax filings for designated client entities in line with the agreed timetable set for KPI purposes.
  • Responsible to identify and drive implementation of standardized processes and procedures across countries and entities in the region to deliver efficiency and effectiveness for all financial reporting purposes.
  • Responsible to calculate track and monitor all adjustments required to convert financial statements prepared under the Global Process Model to the values/format and layout required under local legislation.
  • Managing the working relationship with the BPO provider(s) contracted for external reporting delivery to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all assigned reporting.
  • Managing the work performed by the BPO providers involved in external reporting preparation feeding back to the Central Operations team in case of any unresolved issues.
  • Providing efficient and proactive finance support and technical finance expertise to internal customers guiding them in application of the GPM.
