What you will be doing:
- Processing all tour and FIT reservations
- Maintaining tour blocks in Property Manager
- Entering rooming lists and assigning rooms
- Checking in/out tour groups on a daily basis
- Balancing all tour master accounts
- Coordinating all tour group meal requirements
- Preparing initial and final invoicing of all tour accounts
- Responding to inquiries from Tour companies via phone fax or email
- Filing
- Other duties as assigned
- Hourly pay rate of $26.44 to $30.21
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum of six months recent experience (in the last five years) during a peak season within Front Office Reservations or Tours at The Fairmont Empress or another property of comparable size and service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel and a property management system
- Impeccable grooming and presentation
- Completely fluent English language skills; both written and verbal with a professional business manner
- Ability to display accuracy and attention to detail with data entry
- Clear precise professional and helpful telephone manner
- Excellent organizational skills with flexibility in handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Team player with proven success in relationship building with a high level of responsibility and strong leadership skills
- Commitment to provide excellent service and exceed guests expectations with a history of responding empathetically and with urgency to guest and staff needs
- Proven ability to effectively solve problems and make decisions in a personable and self-confident manner
