Pay: $2632/week
Completion Bonus: $2500 per contract (up to $7500 after three contracts)
Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity surgical environment. This role supports a wide range of complex surgical cases and requires strong multi-specialty OR experience. Candidates must be comfortable with cardiac neuro thoracic orthopedic and vascular procedures. On-call coverage may be required. Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide circulating and perioperative nursing care in the operating room
- Support cardiac neuro thoracic orthopedic and vascular surgeries
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure surgical readiness
- Maintain sterile technique and surgical safety standards
- Coordinate with surgeons anesthesia and surgical tech teams
- Manage surgical equipment and supply needs
- Monitor patient status throughout perioperative phases
- Ensure accurate surgical documentation in the EMR
- Participate in on-call coverage as assigned
Qualifications
- Active RN license required
- Operating Room RN experience required
- Strong experience in cardiac neuro thoracic orthopedic and vascular surgery required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Perioperative certifications preferred
- EMR charting experience required
- Must meet local candidate eligibility rules
