Job Summary
Supervises and coordinates activities of Cooks and other workers engaged in preparing and cooking foodstuffs by performing the following duties.
As a Lead Cook you will
- Gives instructions to cooking personnel on the fine points of cooking.
- Cooks and carves meats and prepares dishes such as sauces during rush periods and for banquets and other social functions.
- Ordering of food and non-food items
- Making sure health codes are being upheld
- Training of kitchen personnel

Qualifications :
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Aptitude for multi-tasking.
- Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.
- The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays.
