Location: Urbandale IA (Preferred Hybrid Onsite)

Job Description:

Mandatory Skills: Guidewire PolicyCenter Technical Lead (with API Integrations and API Customization experience)

Role Overview:

Act as onsite technical lead for Guidewire PolicyCenter API driven integrations
Design and implement solutions using Guidewire core PolicyCenter APIs to initiate and manage submissions quotes and policy transactions
Customize and extend PolicyCenter APIs to support creation update and issuance of policies across multiple lines of business
Drive outbound integrations from PolicyCenter to external systems PolicyCenter as the system of record
Ensure correct handling of transaction lifecycles job processes validation rules and business flows using PC APIs
Provide technical guidance and day to day leadership to the offshore team including design walkthroughs code reviews and issue resolution
Review offshore deliverables for API usage GOSU implementation transaction correctness and performance
Collaborate with onsite business and integration teams to translate requirements into API based technical designs
Support defect triage root cause analysis and production issues related to PolicyCenter APIs and integrations
Communicate status risks and dependencies clearly to onsite stakeholders

Required Skills (Must Have):

Guidewire PolicyCenter
Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter core APIs
Proven expertise in driving submission quote bind issue endorsement and policy lifecycle transactions via APIs
Solid Guidewire GOSU experience especially in API customization and transaction control
Strong Guidewire GQ Guidewire Query experience
Experience working across multiple lines of business Commercial Personal
Integration Technical
Experience building PC driven outbound integrations with external systems
Strong understanding of PolicyCenter job processes entities data model and validation framework
Java GOSU XML fundamentals
Experience with API error handling transaction integrity and performance considerations
Leadership Delivery
Prior onsite lead experience with offshore teams
Ability to guide review and unblock offshore developers
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in Agile delivery models

Nice to have:

Guidewire PolicyCenter certification Associate Specialist ACE
Experience in production support for API driven integrations
Exposure to cloud hosted PolicyCenter environments
Experience with P&C upgrades or version migrations
Familiarity with BillingCenter downstream policy consumers not mandatory
