Job Summary

Classification Title:	OPS Technical Infrastructure Coordinator
Classification Minimum Requirements	Currently enrolled UF undergraduate or graduate student or a recent graduate in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related field
Job Description:	Configure and manage GitHub organization repositories and access controls for student project teams Set up and document workflows for AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code Cursor etc.) Implement project management platforms (Trello Jira or similar) and establish standard workflows Create documentation and templates for development best practices code reviews and deployment processes Establish CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks Ensure compliance with UF IT policies and security standards Provide technical onboarding support for student teams and faculty advisors
Expected Salary:	$20 per hour
Required Qualifications:	Currently enrolled UF undergraduate or graduate student or a recent graduate in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related field Strong experience with Git/GitHub including organization management branching strategies and collaborative workflows Familiarity with modern development tools and IDEs Experience with project management tools and Agile methodologies Strong documentation skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Preferred	Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot Claude Code Cursor etc.) Knowledge of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions Jenkins etc.) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) Previous experience in technical leadership or mentorship roles Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices
