Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a hospital setting in Denton Texas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills a commitment to high-quality patient care and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician

• Monitor and document vital signs; promptly report changes in patient condition

• Administer medications and injections as prescribed

• Assist with patient assessments treatments and clinical procedures

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems

• Support care coordination and provide patient education

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations facility policies and patient safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Texas LVN/LPN License (required)

• Minimum 12 years of clinical experience (hospital or clinic setting preferred)

• BLS certification (American Heart Association required)

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• EMR experience preferred
