As an In-Process Builder you will be responsible forthe overall assembly layup/build cure and final finish of the products in 8757 to meet customer expectations. This position requires various manufacturing processes including assembling drilling sanding and using any other tools needed to complete the final product. The ideal candidate for this position should be someone who works well with a team and collaborates with people from other departments. Builders will perform preventive maintenance on their tools and machines asrequired. This position willbe responsible forthetimelyproduction and testing of quality partsas called out in the manufacturinginstructions. Allbuildersare expected toissue their parts usedto the work orders tomaintaintraceability andclaim their work accurately in thetime keeping andERP systems.

What You Will Do:

• Monitor track and record data related to the different cures of parts
• Confer with supervisors or other equipment operators to report equipment malfunctions or to resolve production problems.
• Adjust controls to regulate equipment according to specifications.
• Record gauge readings test results and shift production inlog books
• Transport materials and products to and from work areas manually or using carts hand trucks hoists and forklift
• Fill out necessary paperworkin order tomaintainpart traceability and accountability
• Ability to implement procedures set in manufacturing instructions to assemble parts
• Ability to read calculatemeasureand mix ingredients document and follow written work instructions and procedures
• Receive precut pieces of composite material and perform repetitive actions on multiple pieces using hand tools
• Preform preventative maintenance on tooling and machines
• Complete all documents completely and accurately all the computerized tracking systems
• Drive plant performance through safety quality delivery and cost metrics
• Keepworkarea clean and organized tofacilitateprocess flow improvements
• Participates inCOREinitiativesand activities
• Clean work area at the end of the shift
• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a HS Diploma or the absence of a HS diploma or GED 2 years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Have experience reading blueprints rulersand specification sheets
• Understand military time and be able tocalculatetime hours
• Willing to be trained to wear a respirator and work with chemicals/paints as needed.
• The ability to work any shifts and overtime including weekends
• The ability to properly document materials used and understand the importance of material traceability
• Willing to become certified tooperateforklifts and trained in cranes and hoists
• Performs work in a safe manner and completes all required safety training
