Pay:$2644/week(plus $2500 completion bonus per contract up to $7500 after three contracts)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our imaging and procedural team. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive image-guided procedures. The RN will ensure patient safety and comfort before during and after procedures while collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures including pre-procedure assessments and education.
- Assist physicians during image-guided procedures such as angiography biopsies and vascular interventions.
- Administer medications sedation and IV therapies as ordered.
- Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures and recovery.
- Respond promptly to complications or emergencies and assist with resuscitation efforts if needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelors degree in Nursing).
- Licensure: Current RN license in State.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Critical Care or Radiology Nursing Certification (preferred)
- Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of critical care perioperative or interventional radiology experience preferred.
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and radiology procedures.
