Job Summary
The Department of Finance at the Stillman School of Business Seton Hall University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-track contract faculty position beginning in the academic year.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses across a range of finance areas as determined by departmental needs.
Mentor students participating in the CFA Research Challenge and advise finance majors.
Contribute to service activities at the department school university and professional levels.
Maintain a strong on-campus presence in South Orange and actively engage in high-impact student activities including recruiting teaching mentoring and academic program development.
Required Qualifications:
A graduate degree in finance or a related field from an accredited reputable institution.
A demonstrated record of effective teaching or strong potential for excellence in teaching.
Evidence of the ability to interact effectively with students faculty and members of the professional finance community.
A genuine commitment to collegiality student well-being and academic excellence.
Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of appointment.
Desired Qualifications:
A strong record of collaborative teaching student recruitment mentoring and supporting job placement.
Extensive industry experience in finance; possession of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credential is highly preferred.
Salary Range:
$77912-$86569
Exempt/Nonexempt: Exempt
