Job Summary
As part of the Open Road Collision group DBA Helotes Collision we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality collision repair services with exceptional customer care. Our team is dedicated to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while making the repair process as smooth and stress-free as possible for our customers. Were currently seeking a motivated detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Body Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders in line with manufacturer and industry standards
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair progress and requirements
- Complete welding frame/unibody alignment body panel repairs and cosmetic work
- Operate frame machines and other shop equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow all safety protocols including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Conduct Quality Control (QC) inspections upon completion of work
- Mix chemicals and materials per manufacturer specifications
- Adapt to a blueprint-style production modelmay not disassemble vehicles personally

- Minimum 1 year of collision repair experience required
- I-CAR Certification in body repair and welding preferred
- OEM certification and knowledge of manufacturer repair processes highly valued
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret repair data and measurements
- Must have a valid drivers license and be able to operate vehicles legally
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality workmanship
- Positive dependable and customer-focused mindset
- Proficient in the use of standard shop tools and safety procedures
