• Pay: $16 $24 / hour ($18.75 average) Based on weekday/weekend shifts
• Sign-on Bonus: $1000*

Direct Support Professional Responsibilities:

• Empower Independence Support individuals with daily living tasks like cooking dressing and grooming while encouraging their self-sufficiency
• Build Meaningful Connections Foster community involvement and help individuals build lasting relationships
• Be Their Advocate Monitor physical and emotional well-being and communicate important updates to the care team through accurate documentation and real-time updates
• Ensure Health & Safety Administer medications following medical guidelines including mealtime safety and maintaining a safe clean environment
• Celebrate Progress Implement behavior support plans and encourage positive behaviors that help individuals thrive
• Stay Organized Maintain accurate documentation to ensure quality care continuity
• Problem-Solve Together Guide individuals through challenges and promote independence through supportive problem-solving

Must-Haves:

• Successful completion of Emory Valley Centers internal training (e.g. CPR/FA Medication Certification etc.)
• Valid drivers license with a clean 3-year driving record
• Successful completion of background check covering employment history from age 18 to present
