Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Arlington TX
Duration: 15-Week Contract
Shift: Days 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Pay Rate:
Local Rate: $48/hour
Travel Rate: $56/hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 15-week outpatient cardiology assignment in Arlington TX. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled technologist with strong experience in nuclear stress testing and outpatient nuclear imaging workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Perform nuclear cardiology imaging procedures
Conduct nuclear stress tests and PET/CT stress testing
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment safely and accurately
Monitor patients during cardiac stress testing procedures
Maintain accurate documentation within EMR systems
Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and clinical protocols
Collaborate closely with cardiologists and clinical team members
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology program
CNMT certification required (or ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification)
BLS certification required
Experience in an outpatient clinic setting preferred
Ability to perform 810 nuclear stress tests and approximately 5 PET/CT stress tests daily
Strong patient care communication and teamwork skills
