Job Summary

Position Summary: As a Distribution Specialist on the 2nd shift your primary role is to coordinate and execute the timely shipment of orders manage outbound logistics and ensure accurate processing of all distributions with meticulous attention to detail. Youll deliver exceptional customer service maintain a pristine and safe work environment and effectively communicate with guests colleagues and carriers. If youre organized reliable and ready to keep things moving smoothly behind the scenes wed like to hear from you. Hours for this position will be 7:00 pm - 3:30 am.

Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States according to Golf Digest. The resort is also home to an award-winning par-3 course Bandon Preserve. A second par-3 course Shortys opened in the Summer of 2024. The two short courses are Courses with a Mission with all net proceeds funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon.

What Youll Do:

Process and Ship Orders: Prepare package and ship daily orders to ensure timely delivery to guests and departments.
Coordinate Logistics: Work with carriers and delivery services to schedule pickups and track shipments.
Documentation Management: Complete shipping documents labels and manifests with accuracy and maintain detailed shipping logs.
Quality Control: Verify order accuracy inspect packages for proper labeling and ensure items are securely packaged.
Warehouse Systems: Use our computerized system to process shipments update delivery statuses and manage distribution records.
Communication: Maintain professional interactions with team members carriers and external contacts via phone email and in person.
Identify Issues: Record and report any shipping delays damaged items or equipment malfunctions.
Maintain Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure a safe organized and clean distribution area.
Equipment Operation: Operate hand trucks pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
Support Warehouse Operations: Help with other warehouse and distribution tasks as necessary.

Physical Requirements:

Stand sit walk push pull lift grasp bend and kneel for up to 8 hours.
Navigate stairs step ladders and ladders for up to 2 hours daily.
Occasionally lift to 70 lbs and regularly lift to 70 lbs.
