The job
As our new Project Manager you will contribute to a growing portfolio of vaccine development projects and play a key role in shaping how NIVID delivers on its mission. A major initial focus will be to manage a new EUfunded consortium to develop a novel vaccine candidate for pandemic this programme you will act as the central Project Manager coordinating work with several European partners including local clinical and academic partners. You will also be expected to contribute to other new NIVI-D vaccine development projects.
Your work will span project planning implementation risk and financial oversight and ensuring strong alignment across a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders. You will help establish bestpractice project governance models and contribute to building project management standards processes and organisational capabilities in NIVID. The role requires close collaboration with both academic and industry partners and you will play an active part in building a thriving vaccines R&D ecosystem in Denmark.
Key responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Be Project Manager of the NOFLU EU PCP programme coordinating deliverables timelines reporting and financial oversight across multiple European partners.
- Develop and maintain strong collaborations with academic partners within NIVI and with industrial collaborators navigating different cultures and working styles.
- Manage planning budgeting risk management and reporting for additional NIVID vaccine development projects.
- Help strengthen and develop PMO practices processes and tools across NIVI.
About you
You are an experienced project manager who thrives in dynamic crossfunctional environments and enjoys working with diverse stakeholders. You are comfortable navigating scientific or technical contexts collaborating closely with academic and industry partners and keeping projects on track through structured planning and proactive problemsolving. You build strong relationships communicate clearly and approach challenges with a solutionoriented mindset. At your core you are organised adaptable and motivated by contributing to a missiondriven organisation where collaboration and initiative make a tangible difference.
Qualifications
- 510 years of project management experience. Candidates with vaccine development experience from biotech pharma or publichealth settings are preferred.
- Proven track record with international project execution and multipartner collaborations.
- Experience across clinical development phases especially early phases (III) preferably with exposure to full development lifecycles and vaccine development.
- Familiarity with PMItype project management practices and proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar planning tools.
- Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholdermanagement skills including navigating academicindustry interfaces.
- A proactive mindset and structured working style.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
