About the Els for Autism Foundation
Els for Autism Foundation was established in 2009 by Liezl and Ernie Els. The Els son Ben is impacted by autism spectrum disorder which affects 1 in 31 children in the U.S. The Foundation offers innovative evidence-based programs for families and individuals across the lifespan in six focus areas: Education Research Global Support Recreation Services Adult Services and Therapy Services. The Els for Autism Foundation serves families around the world and offers in-person programs and services at The Els Center of Excellence in Jupiter Florida.
About The Els Center of Excellence
Located in Jupiter Florida The Els Center of Excellence is a world-class 26-acre campus with a Cafe to serve staff clients and students.
P/T 20 hours per week with the ability to work a rotating schedule between the hours of 7:30 A and 2:30 P Monday-Friday. Position includes the ability to earn tips.
Job responsibilities:
Greet guests and assist them in ordering while maintaining positive and professional relationships with coworkers customers and clients
Make drinks deliver food to tables and keep Cafe areas clean
Operate POS system to take payment for menu items purchased
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Minimum of two years of experience
Must possess outstanding customer service skills including the ability to anticipate the needs of guests and coworkers
Demonstrate a genuine concern and thoughtfulness for others
Demonstrated dependability adaptability and flexibility
Team orientation to assist co-workers as needed
Attention to detail while being able to multi-task
Ability to follow directions and/or written work procedures
Work Environment
- Work is normally performed in a typical cafe/restuarant environment
- Ability to lift stand or bend as needed to perform assigned tasks
