Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and committed Science Teacher to join a high-performing secondary school in Worcester. This is a full-time permanent position suitable for both experienced practitioners and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). The role offers the opportunity to teach across KS3 KS4 and potentially KS5 within a supportive and innovative Science department.

About the Role

As a Science Teacher you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across Biology Chemistry and Physics. You will inspire students of all abilities to develop their scientific knowledge practical skills and problem-solving abilities. The role also involves assessing student progress contributing to departmental curriculum development and supporting enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs and competitions.

The school has well-equipped laboratories and provides strong technical support allowing teachers to focus on delivering high-quality lessons and supporting student learning. You will join a collaborative team where ideas are shared and professional development is actively encouraged.

Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3/4 (KS5 optional)
Develop students practical and theoretical understanding of Science
Assess monitor and track student progress

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and ensure consistency

Experience and Qualifications

Degree in a Science-related subject
PGCE or QTS
Experience teaching Science in a secondary school environment (ECTs welcome)
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Passionate about inspiring students and fostering a love of Science
