About the Role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across the age range fostering critical thinking computational skills and creativity. You will contribute to a wide-ranging programme that includes coding digital projects and enrichment activities central to school life.
You will join a department that values innovation high standards of teaching and student engagement while maintaining a collaborative and inclusive culture.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Computer Science across KS3KS5 including GCSE and A-Level classes.
Plan deliver and assess lessons that develop programming problem-solving and digital literacy skills.
Contribute to curriculum design resources and enrichment activities such as coding clubs competitions and digital projects.
Support students in developing collaborative analytical and independent learning skills.
Work collaboratively with colleagues in STEM ICT and across the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate
Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Recognised teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for computing coding and digital innovation.
Ability to inspire and support pupils of all abilities.
Excellent organisational communication and classroom management skills.
Legal right to work in the UK.
