Caretaker – Hounslow

A well-established secondary school in Hounslow is seeking a reliable proactive and skilled Caretaker to join their site team as soon as possible. This is a full-time permanent role crucial to maintaining a safe secure and well-functioning school environment.

About the Role

As a Caretaker you will work closely with the Site Manager and facilities team to ensure the school premises are safe well-maintained and welcoming for students staff and visitors. You will be responsible for day-to-day site management basic maintenance tasks and supporting school events and activities.

Key Responsibilities

Opening and closing the school site ensuring security protocols are followed
Performing minor repairs maintenance and preventative checks
Monitoring site safety and reporting any issues promptly
Assisting with room setups for lessons exams and school events
Supporting compliance with health and safety regulations
Assisting with deliveries waste management and general site organisation

Experience and Qualifications

Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Legal right to work in the UK
