Job Summary
A well-renowned and high-performing secondary school in Bristol is seeking an organised and reliable Food Technician to join its successful Design & Technology department as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to support practical Food Technology provision within a structured and academically strong environment.
The DT department is well resourced and highly regarded within the school with Food Technology being a popular subject at KS3 and KS4.
The Role
Preparing ingredients and equipment for practical Food Technology lessons
Ensuring kitchens are clean organised and compliant with health & safety standards
Managing stock control and ordering supplies
Supporting teachers during practical sessions where required
Maintaining equipment and ensuring high hygiene standards
Keeping accurate records of stock and compliance checks
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience in a school or catering environment
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
A proactive and dependable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
