Job Summary
A well-established secondary school in Leicester is seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join their site team as soon as possible. This is a full-time permanent role ensuring the school site is safe secure and well-maintained.
About the Role
As a Caretaker you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the school premises supporting the Site Manager and facilities team to maintain high standards across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Opening and closing the school site
Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs
Monitoring site security and safety
Assisting with room setups for lessons meetings and events
Supporting health and safety compliance across the premises
Experience and Qualifications
Previous caretaking or site maintenance experience desirable
Basic DIY and maintenance skills
Understanding of health & safety procedures
Reliable flexible and proactive
