Class 1 HGV Driver

About the role

This is a casual/zero-hours position working Monday to Friday during the day. Youll be responsible for local runs moving mainly fridge loads with dry loads when required.

You will be responsible for:

• Driving a Class 1 (CE) vehicle on scheduled local routes
• Transporting chilled goods and monitoring fridge temperatures
• Completing daily walkaround checks and reporting any issues
• Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time
• Handling basic paperwork and delivery logs
• Following road transport regulations and tachograph requirements

Youll be working with a friendly professional team and operating modern well-maintained vehicles equipped for refrigerated transport.

About you

Youll need a valid HGV Class 1 licence Driver CPC and tachograph card. Experience with fridge work is preferred but training can be provided. You should be reliable safety-conscious and comfortable working independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
