Project Manager, IT PMO 12 months

Position Summary

The Project Manager will report to the Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager in the HUB and be responsible managing and controlling all aspects of your project in accordance with a defined framework and tool set. You will work with your HUBl Portfolio Manager business leads and various stakeholders ultimately accountable to the HUB IT PMO Director.

The Project Manager IT PMO is responsible for:

• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

• Work directly with customers to ensure deliverables fall within scope budget and timeline.

• Ensure resource availability and allocation.

• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.

• Ensure the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope.

• Manage changes to the project scope schedule and costs.

• Coordinate internal resources 3rd party suppliers and delivery partners as required.

• Ensure risks and issues are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.

• Adhere to governance as defined within the PMO process.

• Produce project status management reports.

• Ensure project documentation is produced and maintained.

• Interface with the wider global IT Organisation and global IT PMO as necessary e.g. for Design

• Work within the companys financial processes.

• Engage with stakeholders as required.

• Working outside normal working hours where a project delivery requires it.

• Always adhering to WSP Health and Safety standards.

Contract conditions: 12month fixedterm contract based in Lyon 7

Skills and Qualifications:

A relevant program or project management qualification is preferred (such as PRINCE Practitioner or PMP). Additional desirable certifications include:

• PFQ PMQ

• ITIL v3 Foundation as a minimum with preference for certifications in: Service Strategy Service Design Service Transition Service Operation Continual Service Improvement

• Practical knowledge of key methodologies and frameworks including Lean Six Sigma and Agile (PMI-ACP desirable)

You should also bring:

• Proven experience in project management

• Strong experience and understanding of governance frameworks

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Fluent written and spoken English

• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with peers and leaders

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently

• A proactive selfstarting attitude combined with strong teamwork abilities

• High attention to detail strong organisational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks

• The ability to solve and unblock complex problems

• Experience in developing and tracking budgets

• MS Project experience

• Proficiency with Office 365
