Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:The Annual Wellness Nurse is responsible for performing Medicare Annual Wellness Visits for Medicare fee-for-service patients in a clinic setting. Medicare Annual Wellness Visits are recommended annually. The Annual Wellness Nurse may rotate among several clinics performing annual wellness visits. The Annual Wellness Nurse must be flexible and be willing to help in other areas of the clinic if the need arises. The Annual Wellness Nurse performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the Mission and Values of Hattiesburg & EXPERIENCE:Graduation certificate from an accredited RN school of nursing requiredCurrent state licensure requiredIV certificationACLS certificationBLS/CPR certification preferredQUALIFICATIONS:Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionHighly organized and detail oriented; particularly in regard to time management Ability to prioritize key objectives while performing daily tasks as well as the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent interpersonal negotiation and conflict resolution skillsKnowledge of EMR medical management and policies and proceduresWORK SCHEDULE:Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM.
