CK Group are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Lead to join a leading manufacturer of fine chemicals based near Cambridge. This role is a full-time permanent position.
The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in maintenance management and a dedication to safety and quality.
The working hours for the role are 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday Friday.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure strict compliance with company QC systems policies and SOPs within the maintenance department.
- Plan manage and execute daily maintenance activities coordinating maintenance engineers and contractors to meet production demands.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure smooth site and department operations.
- Ensure proper hazard identification control measures and implement process improvements as needed.
- Perform other related tasks as directed by the Site Director.
Minimum Qualifications:- A qualification in Engineering preferably mechanical or equivalent industry experience.
- Previous experience working within the fine chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Working knowledge and understanding of relevant H&S laws and regulations.
- An understanding of ISO 9001:2015.
