About the Swiss Startup Association
The Swiss Startup Association (SSA) is the national voice of Swiss startups with more than 1900 members. We represent connect and support startups across Switzerland actively shaping a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem in collaboration with founders investors corporates and public institutions.
Tasks
To strengthen our presence in French-speaking Switzerland (Romandie) we are looking for a motivated and well-connected Partnership & Event manager to join our team on a part-time basis. The candidate must be based in the Lausanne or Geneva area.
Requirements
Your Role
As Partnership & Event Manager Romandie you will develop regional events and partnerships while acting as the local ambassador of the Swiss Startup Association. You will work closely with the national team based in Winterthur our board member from Lausanne and play a key role in growing the startup ecosystem in Romandie.
Your Responsibilities
- Design organize and execute startup-focused events (founder drinks panels partner workshops)
- Build and maintain new strategic partnerships in Romandie
- Attract and grow the Romandie startup membership base
- Represent and promote the Swiss Startup Association in Romandie
- Collaborate with marketing and communications on event promotion
- Identify new opportunities to increase visibility impact and membership in the region
Your Profile
- Live in Romandie good knowledge of the startup and innovation ecosystem of the region
- Experience in event management partnerships business development or the Swiss startup ecosystem
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
- Hands-on entrepreneurial mindset with high autonomy
- Fluent in French and English
