Job Summary

Role Summary

As a Set up Operator/Tube Bending Technician you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC bending and related tube fabrication equipment to produce precision tube components. Youll work from prints and specifications to ensure quality repeatability and dimensional accuracy. This includes collaborating with production engineering and quality teams to meet customer and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and bending specifications
Set up and operate CNC tube bending machines and other tube fabrication equipment (such as mandrel roll and press benders) to produce precision bent tubes that meet strict tolerances and customer requirements
Review part programs and tooling setups to ensure optimal machine performance and output
Perform quality checks and measure parts during and after bending operations
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and communicate problems to supervisors
Maintain accurate production records and documentation
Assist in cleanup and organization of fabrication work areas
Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with shop standards
