Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY:The Bracing Tech is responsible for providing direct or indirect care to patients who need bracing casting and/or splinting. The Bracing Tech shall provide consultation evaluation treatment and preventative care in accordance with the laws and regulations of the jurisdiction (s) in which they practice. The Bracing Tech participates in the organization and management of the physicians & EXPERIENCE:High school graduate or equivalent requiredMay be a graduate of an accredited Athletic Training Program 4 year Bachelor or Master Program and/or 4 years of experience as an Orthopaedic Technician preferredExperience as an Orthopaedic Technician or ATC preferredCurrent CPR certificationContinued training for Orthopedic casting and bracing required Registered Orthopedic Technologist certification required within first year of :Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionHighly organized and detail oriented; particularly in regards to time management Ability to prioritize key objectives while performing daily tasks as well as the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent interpersonal negotiation and conflict resolution skillsComputer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to effectively utilize applicable electronic systems and programsWORK SCHEDULE:Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM
