Responsibilities
This position is that of a working leader. As necessary performs specimen collection and processing for adolescent adult and geriatric patients. Assists in handling laboratory data collection systems and equipment to ensure proper ordering cancellations and charges for all accounts. During the absence of the Lab Coordinator may be called upon to make work assignments for the LTAs.
Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Minimum three (3) years healthcare facility work experience.
3. Current and active Phlebotomy certification
PREFERRED
1. Ability to use and understand medical laboratory terminology.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems and design.
3. Demonstrated public relations skills and service delivery training.
