Backend Core Java Developer - Director- Software Engineering

Were seeking someone to join our Institutional Securities Technology team as a Backend Core Java Developer in Prime Brokerage AND Institutional Equity team . The role involved in Development of real-time platform that requires fast calculations efficient memory management and a highly scalable architecture. This role provides an exciting opportunity to motivated candidates to work in a fast-paced environment on varied projects from short term tactical enhancements to strategic initiatives that impact multiple firm systems and business groups. Candidates will be involved in all phases of SDLC such as requirements gathering designing developing testing and supporting the application in production. Candidates will also be involved with ongoing technology support for the business users and queries.

In the Technology division we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities.

This is Director position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What youll do in the role:

3-5 Years of development in Java (Spring)
Proficient in developing multi-threaded applications using Core Java Spring
Excellent problem solving skills & good communication skills
Good knowledge of OO data structures & algorithms
Good understanding of RDBMS Basic SQL Data Analysis
Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Computer Software or related field of study

What youll bring to the role:

Scripting languages Python
Knowledge about Financial domain
Prior knowledge of working in Agile model
Aware of Cloud based technologies
