POSITION SUMMARY:The Dietician completes assessments of nutritional status annually or more for those patients who are high risk; provides diet consultation to all patients for diet prescriptions changes in diet orders or for individual needs; develops an understanding cooperative and committed work relationship with all those who affect the nutritional care of :Certification as a Registered Dietician through the American Dietetic Program or Traditional Dietetic Internship Program required; Training and experience in renal nutrition preferred with an emphasis placed on nutritional assessment techniques; Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction; Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion; Highly organized and detail oriented; Ability to prioritize key objectives while performing daily tasks as well as the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously; Ability to access patient psychosocial needs and coordinate with other staff members; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Excellent interpersonal negotiation and conflict resolution skills; Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to effectively utilize applicable electronic systems and SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm; Flexible Schedule
