The Medical Lead position is responsible for being a clinical leader in the organization in terms of clinical mentorship capacity to train new providers and being the champion for PLH policy and procedures. A person in this position would exemplify a commitment to the PLH mission and values an understanding of the importance of working within established policies and procedures and a willingness to be collaborative positive and solutions-based when it comes to intra office dynamics and outreach to community partners.
Responsibilities:
Meets all the above medical provider expectations; sees all patients assigned within scheduled patient-facing hours
Additional Responsibilities outside of Patient Facing hours:
Clinical resource to other medical providers
Helps to train new medical providers when given the opportunity
At the request and direction of PLH Medical Leadership willingness to support outreach to the community: ex participating or willingness to be in advisory groups / providing education/project launches etc.
Mentors adherence to Clinical and Administrative Policies and Protocols
Creating maintaining policies and protocols for AUD treatment under guidance of medical leadership team. Organizing educational materials to make easy for providers to navigate. Be a point person for providers with AUD protocol related questions and collate related feedback.
Compensation: up to $2000 increase for FT salary
