Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Testing

Lead and execute comprehensive testing strategies including manual and automated testing across all project phases
Design develop and maintain automation test frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency
Perform and oversee various types of testing including sanity regression security database API web application mobile application and load testing
Ensure thorough test coverage and identify gaps in testing processes
Conduct root cause analysis for defects and collaborate with development teams for resolution

Leadership & Team Management

Mentor and guide QA team members on testing best practices and methodologies
Conduct code reviews for automation scripts and provide constructive feedback
Allocate testing tasks and manage team workload effectively
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team

Stakeholder Management & Communication

Collaborate closely with developers business analysts and product managers to understand requirements
Create and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure complete test coverage
Prepare comprehensive test reports metrics and quality dashboards for upper management
Lead client conversations regarding quality status test progress and defect trends
Present QA findings and recommendations in client meetings and management reviews

Process & Documentation

Develop and maintain detailed test plans test cases and test data
Document testing processes standards and best practices
Ensure adherence to QA standards and compliance requirements
Implement and improve QA processes and methodologies

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

Experience & Technical Skills

5-8 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing
Strong expertise in Manual Testing methodologies and practices
Proven experience in Automation Testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks
Hands-on experience in:

Sanity Testing
Regression Testing
Security Testing
Database Testing (SQL queries data validation stored procedures)
API Testing (REST/SOAP APIs Postman REST Assured or similar tools)
Web Application Testing (cross-browser responsive testing)
Mobile Application Testing (iOS and Android platforms)
Load/Performance Testing (JMeter LoadRunner or similar tools)

Automation & Tools

Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium Appium TestNG Cucumber or similar)
Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java Python JavaScript or similar)
Experience with version control systems (Git SVN)
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI or similar)
Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira TestRail Zephyr or similar)

Communication & Documentation

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to communicate effectively with:

Development teams
Business Analysts
Upper management
External clients

Strong experience in creating Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
Ability to prepare comprehensive test reports and quality metrics
Experience in presenting quality status to stakeholders and clients

Healthcare industry experience (HIPAA compliance HL7 FHIR EMR/EHR systems)
Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
Experience testing healthcare applications or medical devices

Advanced Technical Skills

Experience with AI/ML testing or testing AI-powered applications
Knowledge of microservices architecture testing
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG compliance)
Knowledge of blockchain or IoT testing

Certifications

ISTQB Advanced Level or Expert Level certification
Certified Agile Tester (CAT)
Healthcare-specific certifications
Security testing certifications (CEH CSQA)

Additional Experience

Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology as QA Lead
Prior experience in leading distributed or offshore teams
Exposure to DevOps practices and shift-left testing approach
Experience with BDD/TDD methodologies
Knowledge of SAP testing or ERP systems
