RecruitNet International Ltd is currently hiring a Registered Nurse-Renal/Dialysis for a Hospital in County Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- To assist the Clinical Nurse Manager in the daily operations within the renal unit including medical nursing administrative and technical support.
- The Staff Nurse will deliver holistic patient-centred and specialty nursing care to renal patients in an environment grounded in quality respect and compassion.
- They will plan implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards ensuring safe and effective haemodialysis treatment.
- Nurses will initiate monitor and manage dialysis sessions observing equipment readings and patient responses throughout treatment.
- Close collaboration with medical and multidisciplinary teams is essential to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during haemodialysis care.
Requirements
Level 8 Nursing Qualification
NMBI Registration and ongoing annual retention
Post Graduate qualification in Renal Medicine (advantageous but not essential)
Completion of staff induction programme at the start of employment
Previous dialysis experience (highly desirable)
Hold a valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification at all times.
Hold a valid Manual Handling certification at all times.
Demonstrate up-to-date training in Hand Hygiene and Standard Precautions.
Be competent in IV drug administration in accordance with hospital policy and professional guidelines.
Complete mandatory Fire Safety Training and maintain compliance.
Successfully complete the Renal Induction Programme and demonstrate full knowledge of its requirements upon completion.
Demonstrate the ability to attain and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the renal dialysis process.
Show commitment to ongoing competency development relevant to the renal care setting
Additional experience in any of the following areas is considered an advantage:
