Overview:
This position is in the Center for Childhood Cancer Research in Dr. Alex Bishops lab. Our team is focused on understanding the underlying biology that is dysregulated in Ewing sarcoma with the long-term goal of identifying therapeutic vulnerabilities. The postdoc is expected to take a lead role in a project investigating the biology of R-loops in Ewing sarcoma (mechanistic regulation modulation dependency programs and targeting)using molecular cell biology genomics single cell and microscopic techniques. Experience in some or all of these areas is desirable. Motivation and interest to drive and develop the project is critical for success as is a willingness to participate in a collaborative environment.

Pressure in this position will vary depending on the workload. The workload will be heavy but manageable most of the time. Pressure may arise in the face of deadlines associated research and manuscript writing.
