About the area

The International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR) is a world-class research organisation based in Western Australia dedicated to advancing our understanding of the Universe through cutting-edge technology and international collaboration. Established as a joint venture between Curtin University and The University of Western Australia ICRAR plays a leading role in the global Square Kilometre Array (SKA) project.

About the opportunity

• This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of project cost control forecasting and reporting across complex delivery programs.
• You will work closely with engineering project and finance teams to provide clear financial insight that supports confident decision making.
• Contribute to transparent financial reporting to UWA ICRAR SKAO including monthly quarterly and annual reports variance analysis and forecasts.

About you

• Degree in Accounting Finance or Business Administration with relevant professional accreditation.
• Experience in financial management roles within large complex projects.
• Familiarity with NEC4 Option C contracts and global financial governance requirements.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to integrate financial management practices with technical project milestones.
