Job Summary
Were seeking a Full Stack Engineer to help build secure scalable self-service applications and engineering workflows. Youll work across the stack to design implement and operate services that streamline development and release processes. A key part of this role is leveraging Atlassian cloud and data center APIs and developing/maintaining custom plug-ins to extend Jira Confluence Bitbucket and Bamboointegrating them into modern microservice architectures and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design and develop modern web applications across the full stackbuilding responsive UIs and secure performant services that power engineering productivity and release workflows.
- Enhance existing applications end-to-end: refactor legacy components improve UX strengthen service boundaries and elevate performance reliability and observability.
- Develop custom plug-ins and integrations using Atlassian cloud/data-center APIs and webhooks to extend Jira/JSM Confluence and Bitbucket; deliver targeted workflow enhancements.
- Implement CI/CD for your services by contributing application-level pipelines and release automations for your products; collaborate with Build Engineering for common patterns.
- Apply pragmatic SCM practices such as feature branching code reviews and merge strategies for your repositories; follow ETS standards.
- Integrate internal/third-party APIs selectively to support product features (notifications artifact repositories telemetry) ensuring secure access and error handling.
- Document and share designs APIs runbooks and user guides to enable self-service and support; contribute to team knowledge bases and training materials.
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience as Full Stack Developer
- B.S. in Computer Science.
- Full-stack proficiency building and enhancing web apps (JavaScript frameworks - React or equivalent; Databases - MYSQL and MongoDB); API design/consumption; secure coding; performance tuning.
- Atlassian expertise with Jira Confluence Bitbucket (and Bamboo where applicable) REST APIs webhooks and plug-in development for targeted workflow extensions.
- CI/CD & SCM focused to your apps: solid Git; experience creating pipelines for owned services (Jenkins/Bamboo) artifacts (e.g. Nexus) containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with bespoke Atlassian plug-ins (Java/Node) and marketplace app lifecycle; Automation for Jira and JSM configurations.
- Familiarity with YAML Helm Kubernetes operators; observability pipelines; and secure DevOps practices (certificates keys compliance).

India (Flexible hybrid work model - work from Bangalore office for 20 days in a quarter)
