Position Overview
We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time school-based assignment during the school year. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students with behavioral and developmental needs in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA
Provide one-on-one and small group behavioral support to students
Collect and accurately document behavioral data
Support students with skill development emotional regulation and positive behavior strategies
Assist with classroom routines and transitions
Apply CPI techniques to safely manage and de-escalate behavioral situations
Collaborate with teachers special education staff and support teams
Maintain a structured safe and supportive learning environment
Adhere to all ethical confidentiality and school policies
Required Qualifications
Active RBT Certification (must be in hand)
Minimum 1 year of school-based experience
CPI Certification (required)
Strong communication documentation and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively with children in a school setting
