Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:The ASC Transporter is responsible for assisting patients to and from the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and providing a general courier service to Hattiesburg & EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent requiredQUALIFICATIONS:Must be at least 21 years of age or older requiredValid drivers license with a clean driving record requiredAbility to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionProfessional appearanceOutgoing and pleasant personalityExcellent communication skillsAbility to deal with stressful and complicated situations with poise and precise decision-makingPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to walk and remain on feet for several hours at a timeAssist with lifting amounts of weight more than 100lbsAbility to sit stand bend stoop twist for extended periods up to 8 hours per dayOccasional lifting carrying pushing pulling or reaching both overhead and at or below shoulder levelConstant communication (including speaking and hearing) both face to face and over the phoneWORK SCHEDULE:Monday Friday 8:00AM 5:00PM
