Position Summary

We are seeking a certified dealership technician with experience in diagnostics repair and maintenance of modern-day vehicles. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious detail-oriented and committed to delivering superior service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle inspections diagnostics and repairs

  • Maintain accurate service records

  • Use manufacturer-specific tools and diagnostic equipment

  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

  • Communicate with service advisors and customers as required

Qualifications

Certification (e.g. ASE OEM manufacturer certification)
Proven experience in dealership or automotive service environment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Valid drivers license
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in dealership service area

Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities:

  • Conferring with shop foreman and service advisors to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems and to discuss work needed to be performed and future repair requirements.
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
  • Performing quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer.
  • Diagnose maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
  • Test-driving vehicles and testing components and systems
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Automotive Service Technician Qualifications:

  • Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies
  • Ambitious hardworking presence in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive friendly attitude along with a customer service mentality
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively
  • Valid drivers license required
