Besides the accounting and finance responsibilities described below in the scope of services section this role brings the opportunity to play a central role in communication with Headquarters as well as in coaching existing team members and supporting teambuilding initiatives.

You will work closely with local senior management and coordinate with overseas headquarters supporting internal decisionmaking while ensuring approvals and signoffs are completed by the appropriate internal stakeholders.

Project Overview:

The company is in a transition period following the resignation of its senior finance leader. While daytoday finance operations are described as stable several major programs are in progress and require continued senior oversight.

These include postacquisition integration work the planned merger of multiple legal entities around midyear taxrelated activities linked to those mergers treasury and banking consolidation and reporting and system onboarding activities.

The purpose of this interim role is to ensure continuity of finance leadership reduce execution risk and keep these programs on schedule until a permanent finance leader is appointed.

Your involvement in the project will be carried out as an independent subcontractor.

Scope of Services

The interim role provides senior finance leadership coverage and coordination across existing workstreams. The scope includes:

  • Overseeing ongoing merger and integration activities including accounting and tax workstreams and supporting planned legal entity mergers
  • Providing continuity of finance leadership during the vacancy with focus on delivery and issue resolution
  • Managing monthly close governance and supporting the preparation review and quality control of management and headquarters reporting
  • Supporting financial analysis variance commentary and risk and opportunity reporting
  • Maintaining rolling forecasts and supporting budgeting and planning cycles already in progress
  • Overseeing cost accounting margin analysis and productlevel profitability reporting where required
  • Supervising tax compliance activities tax attribute tracking and coordination with external tax and transfer pricing providers
  • Supporting treasury and banking consolidation implementation including cash flow oversight and banking coordination
  • Providing program governance across multiple workstreams including planning dependency tracking risk management and decision logging
  • Coordinating between local management overseas headquarters and internal stakeholders while ensuring all approvals and signoffs are executed by internal authorities

Qualifications

  • Senior finance leadership experience such as CFO Finance Director or equivalent interim roles
  • Handson experience with mergers legal entity integration and related accounting and tax coordination
  • Strong background in monthly close management reporting forecasting and executivelevel financial analysis
  • Experience overseeing cost accounting profitability analysis and complex finance operations without direct signing authority
  • Ability to coordinate multiple finance workstreams and senior stakeholders
