Were looking for a Client Reporting & Valuation Analyst to join our growing team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone motivated curious and eager to build a career within investment operations. Youll play a key role in producing accurate valuations and client reports supporting strong governance and helping us deliver an excellent service to clients across the UK and internationally.
What youll be doing:
- Preparing accurate portfolio valuations and client reports ensuring all checks are completed
- Delivering a variety of daily weekly monthly and quarterly reporting tasks
- Supporting colleagues and thirdparty providers by responding to queries and resolving issues
- Building knowledge of financial instruments including fixed income and derivatives
- Using analytical skills to identify discrepancies and supporting their resolution
- Communicating clearly with internal teams and external partners to keep work on track
- Contributing to process improvements and supporting a strong control environment
- Documenting tasks and following procedures to maintain high standards of accuracy and delivery
Qualifications :
Who were looking for:
- Experience in valuations fund accounting or investment reporting within financial services
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding of how portfolios are valued and how financial reports are produced
- Degree in finance economics accounting or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Professional qualifications such as CFA IMC ACCA or CIPM (advantageous but not essential)
- Confidence using financial tools (e.g. Bloomberg FactSet SQL Power BI) and strong Excel skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive approach strong organisational skills and enjoyment of problemsolving
