CK Group is recruiting for a Meetings and Congress Associate to join a global pharmaceutical company on a contract basis until the end of March 2027.
Salary: 14.93 19.91 per hour PAYE
Meetings and Congress Associate Role:- Manage local meeting programs partnering with Meeting Owners and Thought Leader Relationship Owners to ensure successful delivery.
- Act as a consultant by providing strategic project management expertise and direction across meetings and congress activities.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with Marketing Medical Sales Compliance Finance Procurement and other cross-functional teams.
- Lead and collaborate with external vendors and meeting planning companies to deliver high quality compliant end-to-end meeting execution.
- Oversee logistics planning contracting finance administration vendor management and on-site execution support.
- Ensure compliance with Global Standards and all relevant company policies maintaining audit readiness at all times.
- Support meeting programs through systems and tools including meeting planning and contracting platforms.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes systems and teams to optimise meeting delivery.
- Deliver education and guidance to meeting owners on policies systems and planning requirements.
Your Background:- Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant working experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry and/or meetings and events environment.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using MS Office 365 and SAP (Cvent and Salesforce desirable).
- Ability to analyse and resolve both standard and non-standard operational issues.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and geographies.
- High level of adaptability and ability to work within a fast-paced changing environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to compliance and detail.
