REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING
- Grade 12 (Essential)
- SAMTRAC Qualification
- Incident Investigation Level 3
- Fumigation Certificate
- Relevant Diploma or Degree in Risk Management will be advantageous
- Drivers license
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a safety and risk management environment
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Occupational Health and Safety
- Environmental Control
- Food Safety
- Rail Safety
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES
- Sound agricultural knowledge
- Strong understanding of SHERQ systems
- Knowledge of the OHS Act particularly within the handling and storage industry
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 70%)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong planning organising and prioritisation abilities
- Good Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan organize and prioritize

- Strong team player
- High level of discipline and integrity
- Effective problem analysis and decision-making skills
- Ability to plan and organise effectively
